Whether you're brand new to DIY or a creative pro, Cricut - pronounced "cricket" - has a range of machines and accessories for you, boosted this week by the release of the new Autopress and nine new materials. Whether you're decorating your own room, selling your own T-shirt line, or anything else, Cricut has options for you.
The Cricut Autopress is now available in Australia, bringing commercial power to sleek, home-friendly design. The Autopress helps you make perfect heat press projects with both safety and automation built-in from the start. It's Cricut's most innovative heat press for good reasons!
The Cricut Autopress includes Zero Effort operation, which means you can close the machine with only two fingers, and the handle's motor does the rest. Then, dial in precise time and temperature settings for great results every time. The press can reach up to 205 degrees Celsius and the ceramic-coated heat plate automatically adjusts itself to materials up to 5cm thick, with no manual pressure adjustments required. It auto-releases when the press is complete. It really is that simple, straightforward, and importantly, safe.
Additional safety features include auto-off, advanced airflow, and certified temperature-rated plastics.
The companion Cricut Heat app for iOS and Android guides you to all the supplies your project needs, to the perfect temperatures and time settings, and tells you exactly how to press your project. It's a free and interactive app that removes the guesswork and helps you achieve pro-quality transfers always.
Cricut ANZ region director Nicola Dow-Smith said, “we’re thrilled to be bringing new heat press innovation to Australia to complement our successful range of smart cutting machines. From at-home makers to those using Cricut for a side hustle or business, these products were made to support our talented creative community, whether their pursuits are for making for friends and family or for generating income from customising."
“The new Cricut Heat app is testament to our commitment to continued innovation. It provides a truly seamless experience, taking the stress out of every press! Without the guesswork, Cricut members get pro-quality results every time they use a Cricut heat press. This further exemplifies how much we are continuing to invest in our software experiences, to ensure the whole Cricut ecosystem is second to none”, Dow-Smith said.
It is available now at Harvey Norman for $1,699.
Additionally, Cricut has released nine new materials for its range of devices, bringing incredible new creative options. These new materials are available now:
